SANITAS PER AQUAM

Si dice che l’acronimo SPA, quando si parla di moderni stabilimenti termali, si riferisca al latino SANITAS PER AQUAM, benessere attraverso l’acqua. E’ noto infatti che nella Roma antica l’uso delle terme fosse diffuso in tuti gli strati della popolazione. Abitudine poi mutuata dalla civiltà orientale e che, arrivando fino a noi, continua a comunicarci intrinsecamente uno stato di rilassato appagamento.
